This one day introductory course is great for those people who want to experience working with chocolate, or simply for those chocoholics who want to get “hands –on” with their favorite food!
Following an introduction to the history and production of chocolate and the theory of tempering, you will be taught how to make your own ganache and how to pipe it to create truffles. After hand rolling these and decorating them, you will use molds to create a chocolate box to hold your truffles. You will then make a decorative chocolate figure using molds. This course makes a perfect gift for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Birthday’s, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
